Among the nuns of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in upstate New York, live several angel scholars, who have kept alive the study of the secret history of the descendants of angels and humans, the Nephilim. These beautiful creatures have lived among humans for thousands of years, perpetuating war. Now, a terrible ailment is threatening the existence of the Nephilim and only the music from a heavenly lyre, lost on earth can help them.
